Established in 1892 by Asheba, the Bedouin Dancers are one of San Antonio's longest established dance companies. With over 30 active members and a professional Troupe of 15 dedicated women, they perform throughout Texas and beyond.
Events like the Highland Games allow the Bedouins to expand their reach beyond the traditional dance community. Our mission is to present to the public the beauty and cultural significance of dances from North Africa, Greece, Turkey, and the Middle East.
